 Investing in the future of Creative Retirement Manitoba is a great way to show your appreciation and support for lifelong learning, and to ensure that a variety of dynamic and affordable programs will continue to be offered in the years to come. It also allows us to expand programs and to raise important issues on behalf of Manitoba’s active older adults like you.
There are many ways to get involved.
Annual Giving Program
Donations to our annual giving program support ongoing operations and are a key source of revenue other than course fees and memberships. Annual gifts may be made at any time of the year, or monthly. You can donate online using our secure form, or by using our print-out and mail in form, or in person.
Special Purpose Gifts
You may designate a gift to one of our special funds:
- Program Enrichment – funds will be used to attract instructors, secure classroom space and to develop new courses to enrich your health through lifelong learning programs.
- Students and Seniors Together – funds will be used to enrich young learners’ lives and provide opportunities for volunteers to get involved in meaningful and rewarding activities.
 Endowment Fund
By contributing to Creative Retirement Manitoba’s endowment fund you are providing a solid foundation on which we will continue to build on into the future. The fund is managed by The Winnipeg Foundation. Interest from this fund will provide a reliable and continual source of income as it grows with contributions.
Bequests or Planned Gifts
You can leave a gift to Creative Retirement Manitoba through your will. Anyone can arrange to leave a charitable gift from his or her estate – no matter how large or small. You can make a bequest in your will of a certain dollar amount, percentage of assets, life insurance policy, financial investments or property. Your lawyer or financial advisor can assist you, or contact our office and we will provide you with more information.
Tribute Gifts
Make a gift to mark a special occasion or to remember someone special. Simply indicate on your donation form that you want the gift acknowledged in that person’s name and we can take care of the rest. You will still receive a receipt like any other donation. You can do this online using the “Donate Now” button, by completing and mailing a donation form, or in person.
Sponsorship at our Annual Luncheon
CRM is seeking sponsors for various programs and events ranging from luncheons to support for our seniors' education and literacy programs. We offer great visibility to an important economic market, active and vibrant older adults.
