Creative Retirement and the Winnipeg Foundation
The Winnipeg Foundation has successfully aided several community organizations in establishing their own endowment funds so that the interest generated can support the programs and services they offer. Creative Retirement Manitoba is enthusiastic about the possibilities of this method of income generation, and encourages you to donate to our Endowment Fund.
Your Contribution
Donations designated solely to the Endowment Fund are eligible for tax credits. You may contribute now, or leave a gift through your will. There are many ways to do this.

Our Goals
To actively promote and collaborate with the network of organizations delivering lifelong learning programs based on older adult education principles.
To enhance services, expand resources and increase accessibility and visibility by pursuing mutually-beneficial partnerships with other community agencies, educational institutions, governments, libraries, business and industry.
To meet the lifelong learning needs of our members, participants and communities through affordable, stimulating, enjoyable and interactive programs and services provided for older people, by older people.
Our Programs
Creative Retirement Manitoba presents courses, workshops and seminars in a variety of areas including:
- Fitness and Health
- Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
- Leisure Time Activities
- Music and Art
- Personal Development
- Computers and Technology
Within the program offering is a wide range of courses such as Taoist Tai Chi, Oral French, Chinese Cooking, Watercolour Painting, 55Alive/Mature Driving, Browsing the World Wide Web. Developed and led by a dynamic community of senior volunteers, these stimulating courses are made available to older people of all backgrounds through Creative Retirement Manitoba.
