How can we do away with hate?
This is what makes the world so sad.
Why, for some people, is their fate
To be labelled by others as bad?

Is it skin colour, how they live?
What makes one country better than others?
How can we share what we own, and give
Help to all colours and call them brothers?

The goal of so many is how to become wealthy?
If they hurt others to make themselves rich
That's bad, but a sound economy's healthy,
They've made plans, and they're not ready to switch

And find out for themselves how the other half fares
They'll send contributions, once or twice in a year,
And remember them, sometimes, in their prayers.
But at the back of their minds there is always fear,

Fear of losing what is theirs by right.
They must keep their lifestyle, and win at all cost
And they'll keep on fighting what they call the good fight,
But when all's said and done, it is they who have lost.
