Two Girls on a Swing
by
Anne Yanchyshyn
clever
was the camera lens on a separate plane
suspended in space
as in a dream
no before or after
suspended in time
two girls on a swing
suspended in thought
thinking of stars and the vast void beyond them
all moving rhythm together
eternity
the camera clicked and locked them forever
frozen on film
frozen in time
the figures of youth on keats' ode to a grecian urn come to mind
