An Eden, in the midst
of a high-rise jungle
Raucous birds flashing
from palm tree to palm
Twin fountains splashing and
near naked children
diving and squealing
in a sun-glinted POOL

                              And we, Cec and me,
                              in a palm-thatched Tiki Hut
                              bewitched and entranced,
                              dreaming it's summer.
                              All memory erased
                              of snow banks at home.
