The Ageless Heroes Awards recognized individuals for their contributions to the community through their passion for learning and their ability to bridge generations. Creative Retirement Manitoba's Ageless Heroes Awards celebrated the spirit and vitality of men and women over 60 and showcase the commitment of Manitoba Blue Cross to healthy living.
The Love of Learning Award will be presented to an older adult who pursues or shares knowledge gained through study or experience.
The Bridging the Generations Award will be presented to a senior who is committed to activities that reach out to and earn the admiration of younger persons.
Who could be Nominated
any resident of Manitoba who continues to achieve and to inspire others in the category in which they are nominated.
who is 60 years of age or older
whose activities took place in Manitoba
whose contribution is not primarily financial in nature
whose contribution is not part of his/her duties as an elected official
active board members and staff of Creative Retirement may not be nominated
previous nominees who were not Award Recipients
Judging
A panel of independent judges selected a winner in each category.
The awards were presented at the Creative Retirement Annual Luncheon.
