Re: Propacet
My doctor recently added propacet to my list of meds. What is it and what, if any, are the side effects. My doctor is not very easily understood when he's in a hurry.
Thank you.

Hi ... sorry to hear your physician does not communicate as well as you would like - in queries like this, your local pharmacist is a more likely source of up-to-date information.

Propacet is a trade name for propoxyphene, you're more likely to know it as 'Darvon'. It is an opioid analgesic used in the relief of mild to moderate pain. Used properly it is well tolerated with little in the way of side-effects.
Best wishes.
